Term 4 Week 8

Room Four supporting our athletics super star Mason competing in the senior athletics competition. Well done Mason.

We read the instructional text “Horrible Hands”. We then made our very own horrible hands!
How Horrible!

Training for the 800m. We have been recording our times in our ‘800m Diarys’ and monitoring our progress. Stay tuned for our conclusions!

This week, we have been writing the most amazing narratives using the scholastic story starter website. We had a lot to think about because we were writing our stories for the children in Room 1. We are publishing our stories on Google Docs, printing them out and editing one last time. Finally, we are publishing our cleverly crafted stories by hand, on a story book template so that we can draw illustrations to support our story meaning. We are looking forward to the end result!

We use communication technology to contact people in another place.

We share our happiness through communication technology.

We express our shock through communication technology.

Sometimes we share tough times through communication technology...
For example, "Sorry" sobbed Leanne into the phone, "I will not be able to meet you at the dairy today". "That's okay", replied Gavin Anderson
